Join us in the garden at Earthed Up! Belper Lane End on Saturday 24th June where Ryan Sandford-Blackburn will be teaching about perennial edible plants. How to grow them and how to use them. It is one hour from 11am – 12pm, please feel free to bring lunch to have in the garden.
The course is led by Ryan who gardens over a patchwork of local sites – a creative solution to not having access to any one sizeable site. Over the last 10 years he’s experience of starting at least a dozen gardens and the systems that comes with that – water harvesting, composting, building coldframes, making beds and so on. He has an affinity for perennial, low-intervention systems.
Ryan is an Educator member of the Permaculture Association. Ryan leads workshops with a dynamic and active teaching style. He loves sharing positive, practical solutions, teaching practical gardening skills as well as permaculture and forest gardening.
