For the past 3 years, we have enjoyed selling plants to people local to our nursery at Belper Lane End. We’ve had lots of visitors and have been to markets, fairs, and carnivals!

We have stepped up our capacity to grow more plants this year. We have expanded into the full space, making new coldframes and planting up beds. Our gardens are growing, helped in part by participants on courses planting new areas and helping fund our work. There’s more to do! We’re excited for our plans this autumn, including polytunnel upgrades and more plantings. More on that soon.

Buy plants online

We have developed an online shop and filled it with edible and useful plants, as well as biochar. We’re pleased to be using the Open Food Network, open source software, “so that producers and communities can build fairer food systems.”

Secure and trusted: “Open Food Network uses SSL encryption (2048 bit RSA) everywhere to keep your shopping and payment information private. Servers do not store your credit card details and payments are processed by PCI-compliant services.”

We are pleased to post across Great Britain (that excludes Northern Ireland due to APHA regulations. Some areas may be inaccessible by postal service). We are working with order cycles to make posting simpler – so, please order from 22 September for delivery early October.

We genuinely have limited stock, we’re a small nursery and we weren’t sure we were going to be able to launch in the autumn. When it’s sold, it’s sold. And there will be more in the Spring. We will e-mail on 22 September the link to the online shop.
