We’re always honest with how we grow our plants. All stock plants that are brought in are peat free, we never use peat products in the growing, and don’t use any sprays. No pesticides, fungicides, and so on. We do use biodiverse inputs!
We spent 3 years trialing our potting mix and found that a combination of 3 ingredients gave the best results for how we grow.
- SylvaGrow organic multipurpose compost – it contains coir, wood fibre and composted organic green waste.
- Vermicompost. We make this from garden prunings and weedings, with the help of thousands of composting worms. It adds microbes and a denser consistency.
- Biochar. It retains moisture and nutrients. It gives the plants a boost over time.
