2026 Workshops
We’ll be posting about more upcoming workshops for 2026 as and when they’re announced.
Please email us if you have an idea for a course that we aren’t currently offering. If you would like to work with us to help people regenerate the land they have stewardship over and themselves, please get in touch to explore how we might work together.
Apple tree pruning workshop
We are running a workshop with Transition Crich in January 2026. Please contact us for booking details.
Discover Perennial Edibles Workshop

The discover perennial edibles workshop series helps you get to know what plants are abundant at different times of the year. We run them through the year, touring our diverse small garden, designed to inspire you and show the plants we grow in a natural form. The workshop leader is an experienced member of the Earthed Up! team.
We only have limited space in the garden and this is our most popular workshop, we recommend you book early!
This could make a great gift for somebody – gift cards can be used against the balance of the workshop and to buy plants from our nursery on the day.
Spring – Saturday 28 February 10-11:30am, Earthed Up! garden, Belper Lane End, DE56 1DL.

Testimonials
“Wouldn’t the world be a better place with more of this connection?”
— Midlands Permaculture Festival 2024 participant.
“There hasn’t ever been a talk that I haven’t enjoyed, or got something from BUT I have to say today’s talk from Ryan was one of the best I’ve been to in my 3 year membership.” – Talk attendee, 2025.
“Have really enjoyed the sessions, and have learnt a lot about the various ways of making compost, sowing seeds in different mediums and plant feeds, enabling me to choose which methods I can implement at home using available materials in my garden or locally.
“Quite simply our flowers, vegetables and plants would not survive without the role of worms and their successful breakdown of vegetation in our soil. On the compost workshop Ryan explained how you too can create a healthy composting system and all about the worms cycle in that process. What a fascinating day! Great to get your hands dirty and learn such valuable information, which I will incorporate into my own garden. Who needs fertilisers and harmful chemicals when we have our own heroes – worms!”
— Julie Marshall, Holbrook Green Team.
Ryan, Carol and Cristina are also great ambassadors for the natural environment and their small but productive allotment plot is very inspiring and shows what can be achieved from a gentle approach to growing using natural techniques . They are clearly very knowledgeable on all the scientific aspects but also experienced gardeners and growers.
I would recommend this course to both young and old as I believe the Earthed Up! project is innovative and also challenges long held conventions that compost comes from the supermarket and our food waste goes to landfill.”
