An assembly of plants co-existing happily together can be called a guild. Each plant finds its niche and serves its role.
As we plan for new nursery beds, we’re keeping assembly in mind too. There’s no need for our young plants to go it alone. We intend to grow in polycultures, a bit mixed up! It uses space sensibly, so as not to have bare earth. We think it grows healthier plants too so that when they get to your garden, they’ll fit in nicely in their new community.
