We had a great introduction session at the very first Soil Health Club, one of many more to come. In the first session we did a run through of all the different methods of composting that we will be looking at more in depth in future sessions. We talked about basic methods of soil testing and looking at what plants in the ground indicate about the soil.

Soil health is not just linked to the soil, soil health is linked to every single thing on the planet..including your health. Spending time outdoors with your hands in the soil has benefits to your physical and mental health.

The sessions run bi-weekly and there is still 1 space available if you are interested in joining us – please send us an email. If you are interested but cannot do Mondays – this will be great information for future interest in courses.

There is a total of 5 sessions for £30 (please contact us if cost is a barrier as we have some bursary available)

Sessions will be running on 20th March, 27th March, 10th April, 24th April (dates are weather dependent) 11-1pm at Belper Lane End Plant Nursery. It is a beautiful location up a valley with stunning views all around.
